▪ E-MAIL THIS ▪ PRINT THIS Agency: Hartford Economic Development Corporation (HEDCo) Program Description: HEDCO acts as a one-stop assistance center for businesses in Hartford, businesses that wish to locate in Hartford or woman-owned or minority-owned or startup businesses in those towns physically contiguous to Hartford. HEDCO provides technical assistance, loan packaging, regulatory assistance, locational assistance and problem solving services. HEDCO personnel are familiar with city and state regulations and have a general in-depth knowledge of the available real estate within the City of Hartford. HEDCO also provides information upon request on the necessary state agencies needed to contact for applicable registration, regulatory of licensing requirements to establish a new business. Economic development assistance is provided free of charge to City of Hartford businesses. The program includes:
